Megan's Jacquard collection was inspired by her drawing classes. This technique uses intricate, textured, complex pattern woven into the warp in a special mechanic loom. Many different colours can be used at a time with this technique. Megan felt that this technique was what she wanted to specialise and focus on. The idea of transferring imagery and drawing into woven fabric is very exciting. In her 2nd year she wove her samples at Hainsworth mill she transformed her drawings into woven fabric using the artwork and Scott weave process. Tc2 jacquard machine lemon designs this was taken from her summer drawing she decided to develop her designs depicting shape within her drawings. This collection she focused on the perfect repeat, shape, scale, and structure.
